From what I hear from the various liers (oops! fishermen) most fish being caught now are in the early stages of egg development. Most are also being caught trolling in open water on the lakes such as Monroe. By the time you get here my guess (emphasis on GUESS) is they will be in shallower water near shore. Makes it hard to advise you at this time. Tell us where you will be staying and maybe someone from that area can point you in the right direction.
we will be fishing Crescent,Monroe,George,Jessup,Harney.any where we get advice on we just want to getum you know just have a good vac.fishing (love to fish) thank you for your help

Already sent you e-mail as to all I know bout fishin around here.
Just c'mon and get in the water and throw your line out, that's about all there is too it, etc, etc.
I would offer that at the time you arrive it might be spawning time, so I would use jig pole and just work a jig right off the bank deeper and deeper, then repeat ten feet on down the way, covering all of the bank, surely you'd catch some, if not a lot, etc.....
