Weekend crappie report (pics)

My brother and I went to Lake Chicot saturday, and fished most of the day. Didn't quite get our limit but ended with 34. I went back today, and the weather was great but the fishing was slower. I ended up with a limit of 20 just as the front blew threw, caught the last 2 in some cold north wind. Caught them on a jig and curly tail grub about 5 to 6 feet deep.

Good job Jerry. Looks like you had a great weekend. I went to LM this morning and only managed ten before the North wind hit and the bottom fell out at the lake. It got rough quick and all the boats went to scatterin'. All the fish were small and I just scaled 'em to fry whole.

Markham I was vertical jigging in tree tops and structure, that curly tail has an irresitable wiggle.
