It was a fading call I heard as My 10' boom strained under the load of the beast Come-in Nightprowler64 do you copy over nightprowler FLAGSHIP FLATFISH CALLING! over. the heavy boom gave way it was all hands on deck as a hand over hand retrevial persued ,but the beast had alreay done it's damage the end swivel link had been torn apart taking the exploratory craft away.On december the 17 at 11:05 the U.S.S. NIGHTPROWLER64 was gone a moment of silence went across the deck of the FLATFISH. THEN FISHING RESUMED. Night I'm gonna need a-couple more swape jig's from you let Me know how Much! posting pics. of todays haul Wish I could have got this fish in should have been using my 8 ffoter's in the brush do not use swivel snap's I was using a #7 black nickle pulled it apart like nothing caught a lot of fih on those swap jig's I'll be updating who's did what!:(

Neat story Flat! Great pictures too. Those doggone snaps don't work for me either. I have the same problem with the quick snaps. They worked fine for fishing but straightened one on brush and came home to me leaving my jig down in the deep. I haven't used one since.
I had to drool over your pictures. We are walking on water here-----------till it thaws.lol ole Mike

I gave up snaps along with smokes about 30 something years ago, LOL. Great story, keep it up.

sNAPS DON'T WORK VERY WELL. tRY STABOR LINE LOCKS THEY WORK GREAT THEY EVEN MAKE YOU'RE STRONGER.

i have always used fast snaps and there awesome. I have never had a problem but i also use 4 lb line. So normally my line would break first. i also use a sinker on a swivel to retrieve my snagged hooks works like a champ.

Catching fish on that many different styles and colors tells me it might be the fisherman, more that what you have tied on !!!
