Been catching some really nice BGs out here with them.
The bodies in the middle row.... you just building them up with thread or is that some other material?

Correct - the body is built up with 3/0 flat wax thread. The trick is to get good penetration with your first sealing coat.
are you putting down a base wrap and adding a tad of sealant and then toss on a bunch of wraps to start building up the body and a touch of sealant and repeat until the body is complete?

I do the base wrap, tie in crystal flash and red thread. Then add the marabou tail - this helps build the body. Finish building up the body and tie off. I don't add any sealant during the tie only after the jig is tied up. I tie in production mode, usually 12 of one pattern at a time so waiting for sealnt to dry would take too long. The jigs I tie are tuff enough - if it only catches one fish, it did it's job.
