Some bream jigs of mine

Just wanting to gain y'alls inputs on these here bream jigs I've been tying/using for quite some time.....

Looks good, what kind of hair is the yellow?

Looks like some fly tying influence in them top ones for sure. I like some of them pretty good. I bet you load the box with bream using them too. The top ones are my favorites for sure. Like the chart tails with black tips.

I got to try some of the Polaris hair last spring on bream and it was really good. When things slowed down just take a tiny piece of most any Power bait worm or what ever and it's on. Simple to tie and works.

AW, I like those top ones. I tie a few calf hair jigs but like trying different jigs.
Are those glass beads?:confused:
My wife has many of the glass ones, but I didn't think they would fit over the hook barb. ole Mike

Get you some fly tying hooks for bead flies.

I got lots of fly hooks, but have to force the brass beads over the hook barb unless I mash it down. If AW is getting by with glass I'd use them. I like the slower fall anyway. ole Mike

That's chartreuse barred zonker strips.

Man I love this material!! You can wrap the strip around the hook shank (this is extremely bulky so use it for big bass jigs or saltwater jigs or even striper jigs!) or you can trim a small piece and tie it onto your crappie jig for some wicked-nasty tail action {check out some of Skip's posts cause he's done a few up this way!}.... or you can cut the hair right off the strip and tie it onto your jig like i do for my crappie and bluegill jigs.

Yeah those little bead heads are itty-bitty indeed!!! But man do they work good in my opinion!! I'll need to find my "rollie-pollie".... it's a bluegill jig that has about 3 or 4 bead heads on it and then I do a tiny wrap of dubbing and set it back and then run in some larva wrap (jelly wrap) around and in between those bead heads and then run the dubbing up underneath and whip finish the larva wrap and dubbing at the head. then tease the dubbing a bit for a "leggy" appearance and it looks just like a rollie-pollie!!

plus these jigs work well as a trailer on in-line spinners and even on crappie jigs!!
