Hammered out a few limits of 1st ice crappies
So we started about noon or so.
I took the lead with the spud. Immeadiately got a warm fuzzy feeling when it took 5 good whacks to bust through.
We had a solid 4-5 inches so off we went.

Once out to 18 fow we chiseled several holes and got to rearin!!!!
Boy did that feel great.Nothing huge ,but I was only after picklers anyway for the G-T-G.
I have this mission to ruin you guys from eating regular pickled herring.
I must say I love my new Austin rod and the Artic Armor was great.

We are going to try to find those better gills tommorow.
In closing I have to say that I'm bushed.
What a great feeling.After the ribeye I have a bunch of crappies to clean and get into the salt brine....getting them ready for the pickling brine. :D
