im trying to increase my fm reception strength in my truck, one of my favorite stations 80 miles away fades in and out , i bought the 14 buck antenna booster but cant tell any difference at all, anyone out there know a good fix,

naw just a factory ford stereo, i out grew the boom boom stuff about 15 years ago,,just trying to be able to listen to my football channel when i drive back and forth to the lake
havent worked on a radio in awhile but most ant. need to be trimmed does the ant. amp have a small port with trim printed close by. on the old radios behind the volume know was the ant trim might not be on the new fangle stuff. good luck
use to have to do that on new vehicle dealer prep some years ago,,should be a set screw behind the volume knob,,turn to the weakest channel on the high side of the hertz range and then with a small screw driver adjust the screw until you can get the best reception,,replace the volume knob and set to the channel you want ,,,if this doesn't work you may have to try to find if they make a in line signal booster,,,
