Anyone ever use raccoon tail for tying?

Never used 'Coon, but I cut some hair off my wife's Spitz that worked fine.

I tied some with possum that came out nice. The longer guard hair are dark with the fur being white.

I have used coon tail as just a tail on a jig and as the full body. Has a lot of under fur you have to comb out, ties alot like squirrel tail.
