cool pic. what si unit was that? I am waiting for the 798si to come out in Jan. if I can't talk the wife into a 997
If you have to go through all that shoot for a 1197si. You wont get anymore greaf. Go for the 1197 and settle for the 997. She will think that she has won.
Hey jmack, am I seeing it right? Is your boat positioned between the supports and each side is the one to your left, and the one to your right? If so, looks like you were facing into the wind or current and the fish were hanging on the downwind/currrent side of the supports, which would be the bottom of the screen. If not, then I have no idea what I am looking at.
jmack, Turn your sensitivity down between 2 @ 4 then also slow down the chart speed 2-4 and idle the boat as slow as you can to still keep it going on a straight line... It makes a HUGE difference.. The hard targets are going to show up at any sensitivity/contrast.. (I like to think of the sensitivity same as you would thecontrast knob on an old black/white tv..)
Most importantly, Did you stick any of those crappie in the image?
Unfortunately not. there was four boats under that bridge, i just cruised through. I had the sensitivity turned up cause i was looking at some PVC condos i had put in the lake, and forgot to turn it back down some. i think it was like on max with this picture. i can see the PVC a little better with it turned up.
