You must be going with the TFF guys. Have fun.
If I was going now, I'd concentrate around the White Cliffs area and in the areas where the rivers enter the lake.
You might call Jack's Isle Marina and see if you can get an up-to-the-minute sho-nuff fishin' report. They're nice folks and are in the know concerning the bite.

Thanks for the reply .Really looking foward to fishing this lake .We dont have crappie that big in most of our lakes .You should be real proud of your lakes.
I have been trying the White Cliff area for about 2-3 weeks---I live close by---bream and cats are biting--still looking for the crappie. I am fishing the oxbows and the river. Using live minnows. If any is being caught it is being kept quite. I do not have my honey holes established as of yet. Just retired
I went 10-3 no luck. I put in at Jack Isle the marina change hands about a mouth ago. You might have a hard time to fine some one there from what i was told. There was no one there Friday when i was there.
When I go---I use the ramp at White Cliff---the oxbows are about 1-2 mile from the ramp and Jacks Isle is really not that far. White Cliff is probably the most central ramp to use. The lake is only about 15-20 minutes, maybe 3-4 miles. I do not fish in the main part of the lake. Cottonshed is great also---a lot of stumps and dangerous.
