thats funny, i've got some of those growing in my yard also:D my yard must be fertilized better cause mine are bigger:p
I'm starting small....Aint gonna cut 'boo til it gets cold (too many snakes and spiders). The two w/ multiple pieces are goin in 8 ft of water (summer pool and clear water), and I have a little work to do on the single one before it goes in next to them.
My goal is to have 60 by the new year ranging in height from 2 - 3 ft (those pictured) to 23 ft tall :D:D:D.
The PVC has'nt worked on Nimrod for us. Wooden stakebeds, pallets , and trees produce for us.;)
I have kept up with the all pvc versus wood and I always catch more on wood also. I have started going back and adding wood to all the pvc spots to see if it makes a difference. Thrillseeker you might think about putting a few wood stakes or small tree tops with all the pvc spots.
Just my experience.
Lol
Question. On the wood versus PVC question, with PVC condos like these, why not wedge or secure brush into the ends of the PVS pipes?
Wouldn't that give you the best of both worlds. And the brush wouldn't add much weight or affect the sink rate.
Just a thought!
