I'm looking for something, ya'll ....

I want to know if any of you have any solid body tubes .. 1.5" to 2" in length .. yellow body/chartreuse tails. (silver flakes or colored specks are OK, but not necessary)
I don't want hollow body tubes, as I can find all of them I need. I'm looking for a solid body type of tube. I really only need a couple dozen, so I'm asking around to see if anyone has them in their tackle, but never really use them, and would be willing to part with them for cost plus postage. I don't really want to order them online, if I could even find them there, as the S/H costs are twice what the product would probably cost :p
I don't even want them for myself :eek: ... I'm looking to give them to my fishing partner for his Birthday. He had some, that he did real good with, this past Spring ... but is now down to only a couple. None of the local stores carry this color combination.
So, if by chance any of you are sorting thru your tackle, and come upon something, or have a storage bin of "never used" or "wonder why I bought these things", and you have these .... let me know, will ya !! I'd like to have them by next week, but anytime between now and Oct would be fine. Late Birthday presents are always a bigger surprize than on time ones, anyway :p

I am headed down to Lake Talquin Lodge tomorrow and the store there is loaded with solid body type jigs. I'll be glad to check for you. And if he has them, I know you'll be happy with his prices...Thats the only place I buy my jigs and jig heads from. If you like, PM me with you phone number and I can call you tomorrow if he has anything like what you are looking for. Yellow/chartreuse is a widely used color.

...but, I was looking for someone that already had them in their tackle stash, and wanted to get rid of them. I wouldn't be available by phone, anyway ... don't have a cell phone, & I'm a day sleeper (work night shift) so all calls are caught by answering machine ;)

I don't have any solid body tubes but if all else fails and you have to order them the cheapest place I've found so far is

and they have the exact color your looking for. I'll keep checking with some of my buddies and see if they have any.

Crappiepappy- don't have that paticular combo. Did notice the Wallmart had some solid body tubes in Black / chartreuse tails, solid white and Red w/ chartreuse tails. 1 3/4"

I'm waiting on my bud from Va ... Don G ... to look thru his backup stash, and see if he has them. I'm trying to avoid having to order them, due to the small number I need and the high S/H costs. Plus, I was hoping to put a few bucks in someones pocket, so they'd be able to purchase some "replacements" .. in a color they'd actually use :p
