When HB screws their sonar units together (final assembly), is this done in a humidity controlled room?
My neighbor has a Lowrance lms522c and it constantly fogs up. This sure sounds like it was put together on a high humidity day.
Just curious.

We have spent tons of time on this topic. We have just figured out what to do. You know I can't tell everything.
Ok.
My rifle scope and my range finder are nitrogen filled. This works, but I doubt the sonar units use inert gases as this would probably have to be advertised. I am guessing a low humidity environmental room for final assembly and assembled so no ones breathes on the unit. Human breath used to be a big issue at NASA. This was many Moons ago..
I know it is not easy to accomplish. Hats off to HB.
