I am a Noob to the board !!! I have been tournament "BASS FISHING" for 16 years. But now, I want to learn more about Crappie fishing. I have fished for crappie in small ponds and in the Tallapoosa River(Butlers Mill Dam), but really never new how to find crappie on major impoundments:confused:. Is there anyone in the Cobb,Douglas,Paulding(GA) areas that fish for crappie on a regular basis that wouldn't mind showing a bass angler "the ropes" so to speak. I'm thinking Allatoona.

Welcome from the Florida Panhandle. I see a few posts from guys in your area on here. You might consider posting your request on the GA. board if you haven't done so already. I joined here a few months ago and I have been completely amazed at the amount of good people and their wealth of information that they openly share on this sport. I used to bass fish a lot myself, but I really now only target crappie and bream.Crackers as I really enjoy eating, Plus, the crackers put up a great fight.:D:D:D
