Nimrod report

Well the Crappie fishing has been mixed. The wind is terriable , but Crappie are biting some. I kept a limit of Crappie today but almost half were small under 10''. I did have 11 that were over 10 '' up to 15''. They were suspended over brush in 9 to 10 water. I was using purple/ chartruse umbrella tube jigs. The water is bad off colored between the wind and water having been in the woods for so long.

Hope to have a Catfishing report real soon as I started baiting holes for them.:)

sounds like you had a good day on the water.

Will do on the Catfish report Tommy. I went out late today ,about 9.15 am and fish about 3 hours. Kept 18 and the biggest 10 were 12'' + to almost 16''. After filleting them it filled a gallon Ice Crem bucket. I caught them on two colors today . pink/white and purple/chartruse. Those big 2'' umbrella tubes with 1/8 oz leadheads are being almost swallowed.:D Wish the woman was here with the camera to take a picture of the two biggest almost 16'' slabs. :(

Thanks for the report and let me know about the cat fishing. My dad is interested, munchkin#1 is interested... so you might get 2 guide trips from us.
