Howdy-
Moved up from NC not too long ago. Fished Falls Lake a lot and did pretty well. Hoping to find some good crappie fishing here -- I've fished Prettyboy some and have caught a few small/medium crappie, but that lake seems to have mostly White Perch. I've got the Balto County permit and a boat/electric motor.
Anybody fish Liberty for crappies?
I use to fish Falls with my buddy back in the late 90's. Caught some nice LM and Crappies over by Old Weaver Trail.
Liberty holds some decent Crappie, or at least it used to. Somebody put me onto the Nicodemus Rd. Bridge a few years back as a good spot for Crappie. I've tried it several times since w/o a lot of luck.Other than that, I don't fish Liberty enough to know the water.
You might want to try Black Hill at Boyds.
You have a fish finder on board? Sure beats fishing blind.
