Of the 10 I caught only one was a male. Eggs looked great, no mush and a few with red veigns. Is it possible this late for a small spawn. Conditions were text....66 degrees females in 8 ft of water. But another round of rain coming in. Just wandering what the extreme limits were. Everything I caught was full of eggs, crappie, cats, and gills. Hmmmm. still studying.

Since they haven't had much of a chance to spawn, so far this year, and with this cooler weather ... you "might" see a spawn there. Provided they don't get flooded again, or the temps don't jump up and get hot & stay there, it could still happen. It is the spawning season for all of those species, so it might get interesting (and a little crowded :p ) over the next week or two ... again, provided the lake doesn't get flooded back into the trees.
