Haven't seen or heard of any yet. Usually the first full moon in May is when they turn on.
I have seen some bream on beds already.
Step son Said he was out yesterday and was catching Crappie and Shell Cracker in about 5' water near rocky outcroppings. Using worms but then found he could get them on Chart jig.
thanks for the info going to try the crappie and shells tommorrow after the rain
Hey there Mudbug just realized you are from near my brothers area.Yeah yall did get the storms real bad back in Feb.My brother lives off of Littleton Ranch road.I am setting here waiting on a guy to come by and look at a Bloodhound I have for sale.Soon as he is gone I am heading to Gallatin to my parents house for mothers day and then to the lake on the way home. But the way the wind is looking it will be bad out there.
hey crappietime i live on governor hall rd. thats less than a half mile from littleton ranch rd.
Yeah know where that is.Was going to bring boat up and fish but dont look like wind is going to be below 25 mph all day.

Looks like the wind aint going to slow down none till sometime Monday night. So might finish up on work around here in the morning and then get my stuff ready for Tuesday morning when I get off.I went across the bridge on 109 and thought I was crossing the ocean with the waves and white caps.Beat it all I met boats leaving the lake around noon on my way to Gallatin.Could not imagine being out there in this kind of water.
the boats u seen were probably fishing sunday morning bass tournament at flippers in bulls creek which is around the bend from 109 bridge they have it every sunday from march till september
