just added one to my power drive and I think I'm going to like it as it gets rid of the cord running around the boat,but would like to hear from those of you that have them pros or cons.

They are great once you get use to it. Even tho they are limited to 10 speeds, it has never been a problem for me.
I love it, but being limited to 10 speeds is a big problem for me. When I'm trolling, usually 2 is too slow, and three is too fast. Wish it had at least 20 speed choices.

Love mine. Also I have my foot control still hooked up and can just slow or speed it up with the foot control.

Thanks Guys. I got it because when my wife is fishing with me I fish from the back and didn't like the foot control cord running thru the boat so it sounds like it'll do what I want.
hey wannabe, what ever happened to , u fish from the front u run the motor!!!!!,lol
that's Easy my boat is an open bow with cushions up front. the wife likes them because they're softer than the pedestal seat in the back, also she can stretch out and soak up some sun. When she's not with me the cushions go out and the deck goes in and I sit up front on a pedestal seat. Besides I'm not crazy about the foot control on the power drive. It's almost like having 2 boats. :DQuote:
