Old Town Lake Report

Can anyone give an update on Old Town Lake? I plan to fish there Saturday & Sunday.

Guy I work with went tuesday and caught a mix of 12. Only 2 good crappie, couple of cats and a green carp. He said water looked good. Water temp between 70-73

just got back and was unimpressed. lake had a little decent looking water but was muddy everywhere I wanted to go. windy as usual. up half a foot or so. lots of trees freshly broken so maybe new places next year. set out some trotlines sat night along with 40 yo-yos or such. Caught lots of "fingerlings" and a dozen nice eaters on the yo-yos not much on the lines but all bait gone in a hurry.
Came back by Burnt Cane and it is still high and quite stained. May catch a few there but looked less than promising.

I think stained is an understatement. It's so thick you could pick up the water with a dip net!
