Low Voltage Display
I installed a 787 c2i on the console of my boat and have it wired to my starting batter. After running it for a while, when I turn my key to start my boat I get a "low voltage" prompt on the screen. The Unit still seems to be working fine and my boat is starting without any problem. (The starting battery is new and was charged before each outing). When I start the boat and check the voltage the graph is reading over 14 volts.
Anybody have a suggestion on the problem.

check the setting for Low Voltage Display you have it set to high at 14 Volts -a normal battery reads 12.8 -14 is way to high-you just have to find it on your 787 c2i set it at 12 volts

I thought that by it reading 14 volts it meant the motor was charging properly.....I'll look for the setting and adjust it. Appreciate the help.

what it is doing when you start the motor the finder is reading low volts at what you have it set at- the motor is drawing volts away from the finder

That makes sense, I appreciate the help again. By the way I have an uncle that lives on Douglas Lake. My mother is an Old Highlander from "GP" born and raised on rocky top. Do you know any Watsons?

I Have The Same Problem
Let me know where you find that setting. I'm on the boat right now & I didn't even know that it could be adjusted.
