I read a post a couple days ago for the Southern Crappie Rods. I can't remember who made the post, but anyways, I was wondering if anybody uses them. If so, what do you think about em. They seem very reasonably priced and I'm looking to get a couple rods this summer...with a good report they are my number 1 choice. for your interest in southern crappie rods. we try to give the best price possible. i myself am a crappie fisherman and through the years got sort od fed up with rods costing a crappie fisherman so much. these rods were developed by fishermen of the southern crappie associaton through about 2 years of testing. the mark up is really low so as i can make them reasonably priced for people like yourself. i know shipping is terrible but i haven't found a better way yet. my answer would be to call me 704 791 0108 if you want an order. instead of ups i think i can get a better price with the post office. if it weren't for the federal goverment and the dollar dropping so bad i could sell them cheaper.i have a 16% tax on eachh rod before i can sell them. trust me these rods are better than competitors and a better price. as for my 6ft through 10ft, they will be in sometime in june. they will be cork handle im7 graphite rods especially designed for trolling and brush fishing

Seems like a pretty good deal to me...I think I'll probably end up trying to get some this summer!
I would go with a Wally Marshal Universal crappie rod in 10' for general use...
I hope he makes a 7'6" rod!!!! That is my all time favorite and hard to come by. IM7 anyways!!! I just got off of the phone with Ed and he was a stand up guy! I ended up ordering six of his 12's. if his fishing rods are half of what he is.....then I made the right choice!
I have 12 southern crappie rods from 8' to 14'. I tight line, long line and brush fish with them. Great rods!!! I've got others that were way more expensive, but if I had had it to do over again all would be southerns.
I use some Southern Crappie rods and love them. As my other rods need replacing that is what i will purchase to replace them. You can get them at the Crappie Hole in chapin.
Call and talk with Ed Buster, He met me last year on exit 119 I-26 with 6 rods for me. He fishes tourneys a good bit and was headed to Santee pre fishing. Real nice guy and a charm to deal with. The rods are money well spent as well I bought 2 10, 12, and 14 ftrs to pull with.
I have used Southern crappie rods since they came out and I am as happy with them as you can be. I have 8-10-12-14-16's and I am fixing to go to the Crappie hole and buy a couple more 12 ft's to finish rigging out two boats for crappie fishing. Don
Is the Crappie Hole open regular business hours?? Seems like I was told to call before going to make sure he was open. I need to make a trip over to check out his store.
