Burnt Cane

Well, I don't think I'll go to Burnt Cane this weekend. I drove out there this afternoon and the water is extremely high. My guess is the top of the ramp is probably 6' underwater. The water is in the parking area and up on the levee. And of course more heavy rain is forecasted for tonight. Oh well, maybe another time!

I agree, the water is high and muddy! I tried it yesterday afternoon,its going to take a while for it to clear up and with more rain forcast for tonight it doens't sound very promising for the next few days.

Hey Polebender. Have you heard any reports or conditions on Old Town? Thinking about Sunday. Do you think that it will be like Burnt Cane? Thanks.

My guess is you might want to save that gas money for another weekend. If I'm not fishing this time of year on Saturday, either something bad is wrong with me, or nothing I know of is fishable. I'm feeling fine. As much as I hate to paint, I have a rent house that needs painting on the inside. I guess I'll be slopping paint tomorrow.

Thanks for the advice Polebender. I may as well stay here this weekend and get some chores done. I am about a month behind on them anyway.:p
