I hope you catch a bunch! I understand the Crappie fishing is a little better thatn it has been. I used to catch a 100-200 fish a day out there. It was very rare to get one much more than 6". It sure would be nice if they could grow to 3/4 pound or so. I know a fellow that was told by creel surveyors to keep all the little ones or just throw them on the bank to thin the population out. Sevear over population had stunted the growth.

Well, How did you do? THE BANDIT
Well, the water clarity was really poor and we had a north to northeast wind. No luck on the crappie, we converted to bass, I caught two a pound and halfer and a two pounder, my buddy caught a seven pound two ounce bass on a 1/2 ounce spinner bait chartreuse and white good thing I had the net out, he made fun of it earlier. Thanks for the response. Good to talk to you. Hope we can fish together someday.

Where are you from? I live less than 3 miles from Beshear. As a matter of fact my store was named for the same man the lake was named for. Mr. Fred Beshear started my business way back in 1909. That makes us 99 years old and counting.
