anybody used swim noodles horizonally for condo??
pretty sure they float. Might take a ton of sack crete to get them held down to the bottom.
i had freind who made condo of them.. was worse then fishing in xmas trees, got snagged almost every cast. would get jig back bout 50% of timeQuote:

As far as using them "with" a condo ... they might be OK to use to help keep one upright, once it's sunk. But, a better alternative to that, would be a gallon milk container or 2-3 litre plastic pop bottle. You won't hang up on the plastic bottles, near as much/often as you probably would on a "Noodle" ;)
Personally, myself ... I don't worry much about hanging up on any of it, since I use weedless jigheads :p

I've caught & landed 50lb cats on a 12" noodle & 1/2" pvc pipe.Couldn't hold it down. So as smashdn said,Looks to me like it would take a ton of weight to hold it down.
Swim noodles make great fishing floats to replace jugs. Here is a fish that could'nt hold a 1/3 length of a small diameter noodle.:eek:

You can have them noodles for jugs. They dont shine back as good as my flour. orange 20oz bottles. Gotta love the thrill of the chase when a biggun goes under with em ;). BTW I have both kinds and swore off noodles lol
Bumpers for boats. Cheap and easy to replace. Good call CP.
