Anyone here fish it? I have a friend who has family there and I am going to be there this weekend fishing. Last time we were there we caught some good sized bluegill and kentucky bass but no crappie. This was back around September and the water level was VERY low.
I'm no crappie expert, but I don't think Norris is very well known as a crappie lake. I know the state has stock black and blacknose crappie in there, but haven't heard much more than that at Norris...sorry I couldn't have been more help. You might consider hiring a guide for a day...or just go out there and have some fun and drown some minners under a bobber. Tight Lines
There was a report on the TWRA website that addressed Norris Lake. It gave some good information about where and what they are hitting. Might want to try there.
