Welcome to the board.
You need to join us for the March fish and eat. You can meet some folks and Danno can point you in the right direction for some bank fishin were you could acutaly catch fish when you dont have time for the boat. Another thing is Danno has some boats for rent CHEAP if you dont want to take the time to drag yours.

Welcome to the board adr17 from Oklahoma.
These folks on the Arkansas forum are some really good folks to hook up with and fish. They have all most ruined me from fishing in Oklahoma. I travel down to fish with them every chance I get.
Good Luck and Good Fishing.

Bank anglers do well around the 89 bridge on lake Conway as well. There should still be some trout and bream in the city parks. Be sure the kid is close by though. Gooch said it the best though. Check with Dan at Gold Creek landing. If this weather ever warms a little, the flats in front of his place are going to be a lot of fun in just a matter of days.

you might want to try around the dams at murray or terry lock and dam. i've done well in the past there with jigs.

i used to fish gold creek all the time but its been few years.. i use to catch alot under the railroad bridge and in that pond. i have a bass boat and flatbottoms so i can pretty much fish where ever..the 89 bridge is a good place but usually its too crowded, at least when ive driven past it...
