San Diego Crappie

It was a rather chilly Late February day in San Diego. But we decided to hit the North Arm of El Capitan anyway. http://www.sdfish.com/lakes/elcapitan/index.html Surprisingly, there were not many boats on the water. There were never more than 6 boats in the drift line. Usually there are 20-30.
I got the first hit.

and then JR got a fish.

From that point on, I would like to claim knowledge, skill and experience made the difference but the truth of the matter is that it was having a 2-rod stamp, my lucky fishing hat that Angel got me and pure cussed luck.

It was time to quit. If it had not have been my boat, I would have been swimming home.
