Well, from the looks of it, if you like to panfish and a vertical presentation is what is working for you, these Nano's need to find a home in your tackle box.

nope, they are very flexible and bounce with that slightest twitch. A slight pull on the line under a bobber or a little bounce of the rod tip while vertical fishing with them will make the thin tail with little the little ball on the end just bounce and move like a worm and will drive them crazy. :D

But, you can put any scent on them that you'd like. When you get them, spray your favorite scent into the bag of Nano's and you're all set. But, I don't use much spray scent at all. And these pictures are without any scent at all.

Also, if you want to spice them up. A little piece of Berkley gulp earthworm on the hook with put scent out there which I like to use in muddy/stained waters to help the fish track the bait down. ;)

That is what I'm using.
you can use 6# on the open water if you want, but on the ice, 4# or less is best. :D

The thin little flat piece before the last little ball is the secret to the whole BOUNCE of the tail. :eek: My buddy was using his new (used) toy on the ice the other day. His new to him underwater camera was perfect to watch and understand the amount of bounce that that little tail puts out. He said that even after he stopped jigging and was at a rest, the tail was still bouncing. This is awesome in the coaxing of those gills and crappies thru the ice and on the early openwater.

Plus, I found a little trick the other day myself while fishing the Nano Jr. in combo with THE jig. I pulled 2 of the beads off the 3 bead body due to pulling and hook wear. I threaded it back onto THE Jig and it allowed the hair to not be so fluffy. It seemed to work a little better with the hair jigs and still allowed the tail to bounce freely off the end of the hook.

Hope that this helps you guys out in understanding and learning to experiment with your fishing tackle.
