I just got to vent a little guys

I am so tired of the colors changing that are available. I know it's good to have a good selection and sometimes there is a slight difference when you re-order a color, like Fl Chart. However I have so many different colors of chart it's crazy. I know there is the yellow chart and the green chart (FL Chart), but now today I got an order in and thought I was getting FL Chart that would be close enough to what I have already to just add it in, but no, I got a whole new chart that is between Fl Chart (green one) and the FL Yellow(Yellow Chart). I couldn't believe it.

Heck I got several colors I though would be replenishing what I had, but now they are very different.

All this is just in marabou and now I have 7 clearly different shades of green including the FL Chart, but not counting the couple of Olive colors I have.

Only thing is this new one may be the best yet and I should have got more than one oz. maybe? This is what I really call Chartreuse!

I completely understand, I am going through the same thing. I too have gotten some of the half green half yellow chart. I like it but cant offer it because I just dont know whats going to come in next time. I will use it for my self I guess but it doesnt help that there is no standard that they seem to go by.

My feather supplier has 14 different greens, 6 blues and 2 blacks. I have never gotten the exact same shade two times in a row. The good news is: they all catch fish:D

I am a big fan of Silver Doctor Blue and now every supplier I use to get it from doesn't even list it. I am a bit peeved over that one. I can get it in hackle, but marabou is not there.

This makes a case for dying your own kip tails. On the Marabou it's a catch 22. I have the same problem finding "true" colors. Most times I ask for a sample and then just buy in bulk. Take care.
