Question For You Pros
Is There A Book Out There That A Man Can Buy To Help Him Learn The Basis. I Just Want To Tie A Few Crappie Jigs. Nothing Real Fancy Just What We Used To Call Doll Flies. Got A Mess Of Lead And Will Probably Try Some Molds As Well. Thanks In Advance For Any Help. "keeping It Simple"

There are alot of videos out there. Try and find the ones from people who tie for a living. One thing i noticed about alot of the youtube videos is that the quality of the tieing.

You won't find too many jig tying books but I like having a paper copy next to me during the learning process. One of my first was Tying Trout Flies by C. Boyd Pfeiffer. Got it a while back at one of the big book stores.
A lot of it doesn't apply to jigs but has very good explanations especially for a starter and is in color. At $24.95 it was worth it to me, though I do tie a few flies.
