Hey Gang!
Been checking out this site for a while and it seems pretty cool! I fish the pool on Lake Conway, but am looking for other surrounding areas...as it's getting a little too crowded right now! :(
Any current success stories in the 30 mile radius?
Hey SloMoJo. Welcome to the forum. I have been fishing the pool at Conway lately also and Saturday was one of the busiest days yet. I'm now calling it the parking lot instead. :D

Welcome to the board Slomo. Hope you can join us on the 23rd. I think you will find a number of folks with some info on other fishin holes within your area. I know CEB and others do well on the lil Maumelle.
If you think the crowd is bad ON the pond just think what it looks like IN the pond to the fish?

Just make sure you go when it's raining...don't have to worry about the crowd then...:D
I've caught lots of crappie in the Little Maumelle. I mainly fish the downstream end of it around the mouth. We have several brushpiles in that stretch of river. LRJOE catches a bunch up at the very upper end as well. Not any recent reports, but may have one soon.
Fished a few holes on Conway last Saturday and it was bad slow. It was also bad cold. We were jigging and not using minnows if that's of any help to ya.
I fish my Pop-in-Law's lake, Indianhead here in Sherwood and we usually catch a good mess of crappie out of it every spring and summer, but it's still bad slow right now too. It'll have to warm up a bit more before the bite turns on real good.

And for all you guys fishing on these Saturdays, if you need a boat filler (extra limit) I'm up for it.
I have no boat and no friends with a boat so my fishing is limited, but I'm always for meeting new people and taking advantage of them! :D
