Lake Dardanelle Tournament March 15

Will there be anybody fishing the Crappie usa tournament on March 15 on lake Dardanelle. Hope to see you all there.

Tell me where I can catch a few 2 and half pounders and I might show up. Ha. Thought about it, but never fished the lake. Would'nt even know where to begin. How many do you think is going to fish the amature side.

Can tell ya where to catch them at Shoal Bay, which is a short boat ride form Dardanelle...

I'd say there probaly will be 15 to 20 teams fishing amateur and 10 to 15 teams in semi-pro, I am hoping for more teams so they will continue to bring the tournament back each year it is a good time, they also have a kids rodeo on saturday morning which my seven year old niece loves to attend. I will be down there for the Tourney.

Interesting enough Piney and Illinois Bayou have produced a lot of tournament winners and top fives.
Shoals Bay has good fish, but usually doesn't win the show for some reason.

Can you launch from any part of the lake or just the weigh in site?

you can put in anywhere but you have to be in the weigh in line no later then 4 p.m., they do not do a boat check on local tournaments so they dont require you to come to one certain area but you can not start before 6:30a.m.
