free weights
Guy I have been reading the posts everyone has up about structure. Here are a few hints from a guy that used to sink a ton of brush piles for bass.
first, wet trees sink easier... try to get trees limbs, etcc... that are water logged. they sink with little or no weight. willows usually go down easy with no weight as do logs already in the water/lake. dry wood is extremely bouyant
two, get your supplies for free... Go to a local construction site either residental or commerical. If you are polite and ask before hand most supervisors will let you get stuff from their scrap pile since they pay to haul it off. here you find pvc, lumber, brick, cinder blocks...
find buildings being torn down. again ask the supervisor they will let you haul off all the cinder blocks you want. they might not be perfect shaped blocks but will work good for what you use it for. Lots of time you can even find old wire on the sites too.
remember to ask before going thru their stuff... construction theft is very bad today and it pisses these guys off, so make sure you get permission first!
