I only mentioned to my wife that IF she sees some clip on lamps on Freecycle, lemme know. 36 hours later POOF, she picked them up for me. (2) 20w Halogens. Now I can do some tying.

Nice!!! You might get a suntan while you at it.Let us know how you like them,lighting is one of my problems.Its surely is not my 50 yo eyesight.
Well I might change the wattage from a 20 to a 25. but this is your post being washed out by it, radtexan. Of course you mount it and twist it around any old way you like and thats just what my eyes need in this dim room.
