New Boo Idea
Came up with a new idea to aid in building boo condos...:D
I fill a 5 gal bucket 1/2 full of wet concrete....
Put it in the center of a 55 gal barrel......
Place the boo like I want it in the bucket and the top rim of the barrell keep it in place and assures a circular form.....
When concrete drys remove boo condo from barrel....
The only problem is WIND....
You can see the weights I put on the side to hold things down....
There was a slight breeze....
The boo is 15 ft tall........
Now to get it into the water.... crappie are waiting...;)

Bucket = FREE.. Barrel = FREE.. Boo = FREE..1/2 sack of sackcrete $!.50..
Lots of Crappie = PRICELESS...
Cant beat that deal with a stick...:) ;) :D

CrappieTexan when they dry, i tie the tops up pretty tight. the boo really gives and makes it a whole lot easier to transport. i like the barrel idea, i used keystone blocks on the last ones i made and put them around the 5 gallon bucket. they weigh 80 lbs each so i thought that would hold, nope, when the wind started blowing, down they came. now i tie them up with ropes to the corner of shop, boat trailer, and trees whatever you have helps. jm

Boo
Sounds like a winner... I take 2 at a time in the back of my pickup.... tieing the tops will make moving them alot easier....:)
Now to make another one.....
Good fishing........:D
