Fish and Friend (pics)

A friend from work and I went to C Creek today. We had a great time, the fishing was still slow but we got some really nice crappie. We fished out in the middle of the beaver pond and ended up with 11 good fish. I now have a new record big crappie, a 2lb. 14oz. bruiser, beating my last years fish of 2lb. 9oz. Called in and took another vac. day for tommorow to try them again. The 11 crappie weighed 20lb. 2oz.

Woohoo...Glad you got a big'un today...that's not too far off your mark, Jerry. I wonder if they'd mind if I took a day off tomorrow???

It's 3 hours for me but I will be back. Those are the prettiest fish I believe I have ever caught. Size was not bad either.

Beautiful fish. I actually played with the idea of returning today but figured I would get called into work...which I did. Spent a few hours up on Conway this morning. Very slow today for everyone but a good morning nonetheless.

Looks like a good trip Jerry, may not have gotten a limit, but yall got some good quality fish. And Congrats on your "new" big fish.

Bobby and I went back to Cane Creek today and it was very slow. Started off catching a big fish 2lb 3oz early then I didn't catch another fish until 12:15
Then Bobby caught 3 crappie and 1 bass. Nobody seemed to be catching today. I added the total weight of yesterdays post, it was 11 fish totalling 20lb 2oz.

Even though it was slow we had a great time. I guess I'll go back to work tommorow as bad as I hate to. It's supposed to be hot anyway. Will try them later in the week.

L.A. your causing me to have serious with drawl fits cause I had to come back to OKLA. and leave such a beautiful place to fish. Keep posting and I'll keep taking my medications lol.
