Whats the pro's & cons on asprin head jigs over round jigs? Any of ya'll using them ?
For me it's all pro's....I like the way they fall...They make a great looking jig. You have a good flat surface for painting the eyes on. They come through cover a little better cause the head is not as wide. I use them alot for Float n' Flies for smallmouth. I make a weedless pill head that I use for hair jigs for smallies that is a killer too. But that's my 2 cents.....:D..Can Yea tell I like them?????
here's another thing to think about when it lands on a branch or limb it normally falls over on its side
but they are a great looking jig

I'm liking those pillheads too!! My partners and I are working on several interesting designs/concepts using them!!
I use them for tying my "dock shooting" jigs. Mine are not the normal "aspirin" heads you buy though. I take a ball head jig and "flatten" it with some Lineman's pliers. I have found that it is easier to grasp when shooting.
Interesting, just had a guy contact me about that jig head a few days ago and now everyone wants or is looking at them. I don't get it I guess especially since that guy is not shooting docks and is fishing deeper part of the time.
