I am looking for matetial to make one of these! I'm not worried about the outer shell but I can't find the 1/4" foam for the inside...any ideas of where one might find some?

Probably you are looking for the foam in a jig wallet. You can use the material used for headliners in cars/trucks. Most fabric stores will carry this material. I call it headliner foam.

I may have what you need, its used as packing material in certain boxes of controls I get at work. I normally throw it out. PM me an adress and I will send you some.
