Cane Creek 10-26-07 (Pics)

Went to Cane Creek today, it was sort of slow on the good crappie, but caught a lot of throw backs. The water really cooled off, almost too cool for throwing a roadrunner. Temp was 57 when I got there and 59.5 when I left.
Got to visit with JLeus on the lake today, and met and talked to CrappieKG at the ramp as I was leaving. I think the fishing will be better as the weather stabilizes. Ended up with 8 keepers, they were really nice fish.

Yeah Ceb, the grass has sunk quite a bit, no problem with it today. The fish seem to be more on the inside of the tree edge than before. And just before I left I saw 2 caught out in the trees with the biggest one out close to where you were really doing good last winter. I'm going to give it a try out there tomorrow.

Hey Jerry, tear 'em up tomorrow. I'll see you bright and early Sunday morning...I'm gonna shoot for doing some fishin' before sunrise. The nicest part will be putting on some warm clothes for a change...
