Mr. Humminbird. Another question.

Mr Gregg,

I went to Humminbird web and could not find a replacement plastic mount for the 797 xducer (dual beam). Where do I get one? I might screw mine up.

What type plastic composition is the mount? ABS? I could not locate the plastic code.

I am gonna do a little plastic welding on this mount to see if I can eliminate the rooster tail. Need to know the type plastic so I can use the right welding rod.

MHX-XNT hardware.

The plastic type depends on which part you are wanting to 'modify'. f I looked this up right its either: polyphenylene ether (PPE) / olefin resin blend or polybutylene terephthalate (PBT).
