Camping and fishing at Cane Creek

Kathy and I went camping this weekend and a friend and his wife were camping there also. My friend and I would fish in the morning and we fished with our wives in the evening. The weather was great and the state park at C.C. is a really nice place to camp. The fishing has not really turned on for quantity of fish but the quality is nice. The fish we kept were mostly really nice, a lot were 13 to 14.5 inch fish. The water temp was between 79 and 84 degrees when we got there on Thursday, but was 76 to 78 by Sunday. If it will cool another 10 degees we should have some good fishing. I got to talk to Ceb and Lucky at the ramp Saturday morning, sort of like a homecoming from last fall. I really enjoy the long weekend with family and friends. Hope everone had a great weekend.
