Here is a kind of new jig for me (fuzzy kind) and remember this is a size #8 hook and a 1/32 oz. jig so it's pretty small. So is it going to catch them blue gills & Crappie?

Looks good, but with a tail that long you may be in for a lot of short strikes, you may want to think of adding a stinger hook or shorting the tail. Just mho.
The hooks are really small so the tail is not that long and I use many with longer tails on 1/32 with a #4 hook. I have not had any trouble. Most crappie shouldn't have any trouble getting that in their mouth all at once.Quote:

i think they look great..i might consider getting me a few or trying to tie my own, im just not good at real smallones due to my hands
