Any you boys seen a crappie around KY lake lately? I'll be in the promised land this weekend, probably be on the water Friday and/or Saturday. What are y'alls bets for where they'd be found and what they'd be caught on? Anybody think they might be in a little shallower water with the cooler weather?
Matt, Ausenbaugh caught some fish on Jonathan this week. He caught them in 15-18 foot of water. I think he said he had 8 keepers in a couple of hours and had some short fish as well. I have never fished there myself but I am sure it was on a ledge near the mouth. I have seen some other post that indicated that some fish are coming from that area. Whiskers may have posted that, I am not sure. By the way, go to bed!

I know they catch fish down there, but I sure do hate to drive all the way to Jonathan. I don't know of a quick way to get there from Dawson.
You will probably find a few fish in Pisgah where I told you about earlier. I agree it is a long drive to Jonathan. Too far for me when there is a lot of water to drive past. I just want to get on the water, fish in the boat is secondary at this point.
