When of you nice folks need a good taxidermist (notice I said "when" and not "if") who charges a very fair price and does the work in short order just let me know and I'll get you his contact info. Just got these two back and now I need to figure out where to hang them where my wife won't want to move them.

Are those replica's or the real thing? They are mighty nice and very well put togather. Also, brag more on those 2 species, length & weight? I also like the fact that you have both species there. Anyway, nice trophies!
No, they are skin mounts. The top one is a 16.5" black crappie. The bottom one is a 16" white crappie. Not much else to say. The man did a good job and I'm definitely going to recommend him to more of my clients. I guess the number of times I get to do it again in the future will be determined on the size of fish and the amount of disposible income. Either way this one is going to look good on the wall. Maybe I'll just make a wall-of-fame -- 16" class, 17" class, 18" class, etc.Quote:
