Just bought a new to me war eagle that has a x5 on it . Is this a decent trolling motor ?

I had the Xi5 a few years and liked it. Never used the foot pedal. The spot lock was very good. Never had any problems with the mechanics of the motor. I now have a Power Pole trolling motor. So far so good

I have a xi5 going on 5 years no problems so far. Good luck with yours.
