What has worked for you all?
Just uncovered my river jon, and she has been through it. But, she has been a very good, reliable boat, able to put us in the places we need to get to, and where I won't dare put our pontoon. That being said, at the end of last year, she was taking on a little water, and we put her up knowing I needed to address the situation. So, yesterday, I leveled the boat on the trailer, put water in the boat, and found three small holes, all caused by a bolt on the trailer that has been taken care of. These holes aren't large, but I also can't weld aluminum. What have you all used to plug holes, and has worked? These holes aren't big....almost the size of a rivet, but they need addressed. JB Weld is in my mind. This is in a spot that will be in contact with the trailer everytime it is trailered.
I'm going to freshen her up this week in the evenings in the garage, and don't expect this to be a tough fix. Just want opinion on what you all have used that has stood the test of time.....and the abuse we can put on our boats!
Thanks in advance, and prayers that is well and healthy for each of you....
