Anyone interested in doing crappie camp at Smithville Lake this year?
Same weekend as always. Pretty sure that’s what Joe and I are going to do again. Truman lake is just too variable with rain and high water, but Smithville seems to be pretty consistent this time of year.
It also seems like not many go to Truman Camp anymore anyway?
Just asking, we will most likely be there no matter what unless Truman water and weather is just perfect, which is highly doubtful.
I kinda quit those events. So unless I showed up out of the blue probably not. But good luck!

Tell me more about Smithville never been there. Do they have docks to rent to leave the boat in the water, lodging? Thanks
Camp Branch Marina has slip rental and pretty sure so does Little Platte Marina. Lodging you might be better off looking for an Airbnb. Kearney has some newer hotels but Smithville not sure, maybe one. Nothing very close to the water like at Truman.
