First trip in a while

Took my FIL to the river yesterday. Cloudy and windy but temps in the upper 60s. Did have a few takers. Had a mixed bag of 9 crappie and 6 bass. Supper was great. Fish hush puppies and tader salad. Swamp is still in winter mode of course very muted bland colors but beautiful in its own right.

Good job getting out there and catching some. I always find it relaxing and enjoyable on the water. Supper sounds good.

Nice. I'm still in hard water mode up here but definitely looking forward to ice out.
