I try to carry a minimal amount of gear for crappie. I like 4 sizes of jig heads and about ten different colors and styles of plastic bodies. What is the best way to carry just that, and not much else?

How about a Ozark Trail 3700 tackle tray (for about $4.00 at Wally World) :dono
I used to carry just one Plano box with everything in it. Actually that’s still how I have my tube jigs all in one box for easy grab and go. I do like the nicer boxes with better latches though when carrying like that since I’ve had one come undone and dump out before :banghead
I have a Plano flip top plastic 6" box. It opens from one side or flip it and it opens from the other side. I keep 1/32 oz jigs and lead shot on one side and 1/16 oz jigs and lead shot on the other side. I keep this in the console between the two seats where it is very easy to get too. I keep a more complete much larger Plano plastic tray for each 1/64, 1/32, 1/16 & 1/8 oz jigs and split shot. In I have various size and style hooks on the different weights. The small 6 inch flip box in the console is only filled with my go to stuff that I use 99% of the time.
Bon Temp[s!
I do think I need something with some UV protection, regular ones deteriorate quickly left in the sun on the boat seat.

Altoids box ….:highfive
Gamakatsu G-box 3600 slit foam box. Far and away the best jig box I’ve found.
I'm just thinking outside the box but put your jig heads in an old pill bottle and plastics in a sandwich bag? I use a back pack and actually love it.
I used 2 sizes of insert unpainted jig heads in zip sandwich bags (1/8 and 1/4). Only took Umbrella tubes for 1/8 in purple chartreuse and larger Little Hustler tube in orange chartreuse in separate bags . Now tying my own trash jigs I put just a few in a zip up sandwich bag. I think most guys try to carry way too many baits. I can put them in my pocket and grab a jig pole to go fishing with someone else. Had the question asked many times (where is your tackle?) :Rofl
